You can buy ads inside ChatGPT now. You still cannot buy your way into the answer it gives.

OpenAI says ads sit below the response and that advertisers cannot change what ChatGPT recommends. Anyone on a paid plan does not see them at all.

So the thing that actually gets you named is the same as it ever was: being easy to describe and easy to trust.
