Last week, Rasky Partners’ Andy Hoglund took a detour out to Cooperstown NY to reconnect with a place that helped shape his career: the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, where he served as a Steele Intern during the summer of 2007.
The day began with a welcome brunch hosted by program founder Peggy Steele at the historic Otesaga Resort Hotel, bringing together Steele Internship alumni + current Hall of Fame staff. From there, attendees gathered at the museum for a panel discussion on how the program has influenced professional development across a range of industries. Special thanks to Stephanie H. for moderating the engaging, thoughtful conversation in addition to fellow panelists Red Sox team curator Sarah Ottinger and Oscar Mayer spokesperson Emma Harby.
The day concluded with informal networking over lunch, giving alumni the opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, and meet the next generation of interns.
It was a fantastic reunion and a reminder of the lasting impact of the Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program for Leadership Development. Nearly two decades after his time there, Andy was thrilled to see how the Hall has evolved while continuing to inspire future leaders.
