I want to talk to you about the three ways to grow your business, and this is a big topic, so I’m going to split it into three different posts.
The first way to do this is pretty obvious: Increase the number of clients you work with.
First off, you need to have a “marketing system” in place. And this is more complex than “marketing”.
“Marketing” helps people find your business. A “marketing system” guides potential clients on a journey into becoming a paying client.
Having a marketing system set up allows you to have a predictable stream of new clients. Your business simply cannot survive on a random batch of inquiries that you have no idea where they came from.
Another way to get more clients is to simply offer more services. For example, if you work with people struggling with depression or anxiety, you can decide you want to start a support group that you can offer to new or existing clients.
Lastly, referrals are the lifeblood of our industry, so be sure to leverage your network and local health professionals to see if they can send you potential clients.
