I remember doing this interview with just a short time after he received the Halo. We were trying to get a message out to his sponsors, friends, and fans; there was no plan, no strategic messaging, just straight talk from one of the kindest souls in professional triathlon racing. This was a small bright moment amongst some really dark days. Tomorrow, as the Don lines up at the , he will once again be creating a bright moment for those that have found inspiration through his perspective in life ….especially here in Colorado.
