Job description
Job Summary
Waky Sign Company is looking for Sign Installation/Service Technician candidates to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Sign Installation/Service Technician will install and service signs: cabinets, pylon signs, channel letters and electronic message centers and exterior lighting.

Confirm that each assigned sign conforms to original instructions by comparing the two thoroughly.

Ascertain that there are no damages in the sign and take instructions for it to be installed, including location and timeline.

Load signs onto trucks and ensure that they are properly secured so that they do not fall or get damaged.

Transport signage to destination and prepare work sites by removing unwanted signage and clearing away old wires and electricity docks.

Determine proper layouts and communicate any issues to the supervisor.

Install signs by following strict instructions and by complying to the work order.

Ascertain that the sign is properly aligned so that it looks straight from the distance.

Hook up electric wires to electric poles or designated solar panels as instructed by the company.

Ascertain that electric wiring is properly grounded and that any loose wires are appropriately cut off or bound.

Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified candidates may have the following skills: Basic Carpentry, Electric Knowledge and possible welding experience.
