Congratulations to this Leadership Manatee grad, Danae! 🎓

This past month, our Director of Brand Strategy wrapped up her participation with Manatee Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Manatee program.

For the past 7 months, Danae has been fully immersed in the facets, challenges, and successes of Manatee County. Through local businesses small and large, arts and culture, media and communications, agriculture, education, human needs, healthcare, law enforcement, land use, transportation, and local government, Danae was able gain valuable perspective into the people, businesses, and needs that make up our community.

From idea to campaign, our team eagerly strategized, built and implemented different marketing tactics to launch and promote The Bishop's newest exhibit, Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks.

Beginning with the research and brainstorm 🧠 , we put our heads together to come up with unique approaches to social media content and design. We eagerly jumped into it starting with some buzz building, a social media strategy, PR pitching, influencer campaigns, community engagement tactics, and more.

We recently took on a new project with Weathervane Theatre, to help them compile all of their amazing assets into a defined brand and logo suite.

We were able to provide them with a full logo suite from top to bottom and helped them understand the use-case for each one as well as the importance of remaining consistent in their uses.

Time to focus + flow here at team SS! 💡🌊 But how do you get in the zone?

One of our is the Pomodoro Technique – a time management strategy consisting of 25-minute work blocks with five minute breaks to increase focus and boost productivity.

This strategy allows you to avoid burnout or creative slump by breaking up your day into manageable pieces. Plus it really helps you manage those pesky distractions. Nothing too crazy can happen in 25 minutes right? So put that Do Not Disturb on 🌙 and save the notifications for your 5-minute break so you can truly give yourself to the task at hand.

Meet Elena Cassella – Executive Director of Foundation for Dreams and Dream Oaks Camp, a non-profit summer camp striving to create a place where children can recognize one another as individuals, not by their disabilities.

Leading with a passion for inclusivity and an empathetic heart, Elena not only changes the lives of the campers she serves but also their families – recognizing the challenges they too face as caregivers. Even moreso, her work impacts our community too, by advocating for more inclusivity outside of just Dream Oaks Camp and empowering all of us to .
