Targeting... yikes! I get it! It's seems easy, but done incorrectly it can skyrocket your ad costs.
Here are some of the most common targeting mistakes:
1. Audiences that are way too big! Make sure to UNCHECK Detailed Targeting Expansion. This makes your audience too big and vague. Tons of uninterested people will see your ads. Don't waste your dollars on them.
2. Audiences that are way too small. Make sure your audience is in the millions so it can reach the right people.
3. Audiences that have too many narrowing layers. Facebook™ has to work harder to find people that match all of your criteria. Stick with a MAX of 3 layers!

This week, I'm sharing tips to bring your ad costs down 📉 and improve their performance. 📈
Tip #3 is to choose an eye-catching picture. This can be a graphic of your digital products or a picture of you or whatever you'd like... as long as it slows the scroll.
Your audience is most likely to slow down long enough to read your hook or headline if the picture is awesome.
Ideas: nature pix, bright colors (yellow!!!), showing movement (laughter, walking, etc).

Over the next few days, I will be sharing some tips to help bring your ad costs down and improve their performance.

Tip #1 is to write compelling copy!

Your ad copy, especially the first few lines (called the "hook"), is extremely important! If you can't capture a reader's attention quickly, you'll miss out on the opportunity to resonate with them.
Think of it this way... how do you pick out a new book? 📚 You read the back, and if it's interesting, you decide to invest more time in it.
Same. With. Ads.
The number one tip I have for writing compelling copy is to use story! Consumers want an experience, not to be sold to. If you can connect with them emotionally, they'll click "See More." 👀
