Little advice (You didn't ask.. Oh well.. Take the medicine)

Lots of people hacking accounts. There are three common things they can do:

Use your identity to open an account or get a loan and spend money in your name.

Hack your credit card and spend money online.

Steal money from your checking or savings account.

Some solutions:

1: Freeze your rating on all major Credit reporting sites. IT IS FREE so don't let the crooks convince you to pay for it. No one (Not even you) will be able to take a loan or open a credit card until you UNFREEZE the accounts. Yes a pain, but we don't open accounts that often.. Peace of mind.

2: Monitor your credit card every 48 hours. Can be done online. If you see a charge you don't know, then call it in. A lot of times a charge made out of state will flag anyway.. But keeping an eye on it is the best bet.

3: This is a tough one. Good strong password helps a bit. 2 factor authorization helps a bit. But if you REALLY want safety, you can open a savings account and severely limit outgoing transfers. You only keep enough to cover the bills in the checking, and move the rest into savings where it's outgoing it limited. So the worst that can happen is you lose the amount in checking, but the lion's share is safe.

I'll be honest.. I USED to be the guy that had one password for everything. Those days are gone. Don't be me.

Obviously there are the various emails and other scams out there.. Can't really say much about this as there is a new "hook" every week as they look for ways to steal from us. When in doubt, check check check.

Crooks are all about return on their dishonest time.. The quick buck. If they have to jump through a lot of hoops they want THOUSANDS of dollars for it.. It's not about being full proof as much as it's about being more trouble than it's worth.

FREELANCE JOB OPENING: Production Assistant

Will need a PA with light grip experience for a shoot Friday evening, Sept 20th (3 hours) and Saturday Sept 21st (4-5 hours) Pay is $30 per hour or $300.. Whichever is more. Location: Near Fox Theatre off Grand.

Following qualification are needed:

Prior on set experience (set wise)*

Wrapping audio, video, and stinger cables correctly (over / under)*

Good sense of direction

Must own a black button down shirt, black pants, and black shoes (Shoes can be black sneakers so long as they are clean) Be well groomed (This applies to Saturday only)

Must have your own car

Must have a smart phone with the ability to use Google Maps or similar navigation app. Driving errands are not expected, but not impossible. Need to be ready for anything.

Problem solving perspective.

This is a live production, so there can be "tense" moments. We actively try to avoid them, but need to be able to stay calm, think and move fast.

Genre: Live broadcast
Friday: Load in / Set up / Rehearsal
Saturday: Shoot

If you take cash app or Venmo, you will be paid after we wrap on Saturday.

So Harrison Ford is known for being a grumpy interviewee.. It's part true, and part an act.. I've watched most of his interviews and they are usually pretty funny.

That said, I have NEVER seen Harrison Ford be "as Harrison" as he was on Conan O'Brien's Podcast "Conan needs a friend". And for a full 45min to boot
