QuaverEd's new Broadway-style show, One Step at a Time Musical takes the stage at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center for an exclusive run Tuesday, June 30, and Wednesday, July 1.

Nashville, meet Broadway. And this time we’re not talking h***y tonks. 🎭

Nashville-based QuaverEd is producing a Broadway-style musical that debuts at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center later this month. One Step at a Time is set within a school community searching for answers, as adults rediscover their passion and students uncover their inner strength, ultimately revealing how deeply we all need one another to grow.

Producer Holly Shepherd and lead actress Holli Trisler appeared on Local On 2 to share details about this Nashville production featuring a local cast and crew. One Step at a Time has an exclusive, two-night engagement at TPAC on Tuesday, June 30, and Wednesday, July 1.

With hurricane and severe weather season on the horizon, HCA Healthcare held its annual Emergency Response Team (ERT) trainings in Nashville, gathering experts from across the country to sharpen their disaster preparedness skills. WKRN’s Kenley Hargett visited TriStar Skyline Medical Center last week as HCA Healthcare’s NICU transport teams conducted exercises to safely evacuate the youngest and most vulnerable patients during a crisis.

Join us in welcoming Luke Green and Alex Pratt to the MBPR team as interns!

Luke, a Nashville native and rising senior at Lipscomb University, is pursuing a degree in public relations with a minor in film. He brings experience from his marketing internship at Healing Hands International and leadership roles with Lipscomb’s Orientation team. He is also a member of the university’s vocal group, Sanctuary, and enjoys watching sports.

Alex, from Franklin, Tennessee, is a rising senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying marketing with a focus on sales. He has a strong passion for music and has been playing guitar for more than 15 years. He also enjoys hands-on work outdoors, spending time in property management.

HCA Healthcare provides year-round trainings nationwide as part of the Stop the Bleed movement, empowering ‘bystanders’ to be ‘lifesavers’ in the face of traumatic blood loss—the number one cause of preventable death after injury according to the American College of Surgeons. Beth Warren, healthcare reporter for The Tennessean, attended a local training for HCA Healthcare employees, and her story ran on the front page of today’s Tennessean. MBPR teammates Lydia Lenker and Ben Barry joined the hands-on training to learn life-saving techniques.
