A rare sight indeed! For the first time in my life I was able to view small flashes of Aurora Borealis over my hometown! These long exposures showcase a bit of what was visible to the naked eye. The darkest image was the shortest viewing window, which captured a flash in the bottom left corner which is as close to real-time stills as I could demonstrate. Photos taken Halloween night in out west of Brigham City. The cloud roll was epic!
