I'm Calling On All Christians In America For Your Service. (Please Read This Post)
Scripture tells us that when we feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty, we are serving Christ Himself:
āFor I was hungry and you gave me something to eat⦠truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Meā (Matthew 25:35ā40).
And He also teaches us to give quietly, without applause or attention (Matthew 6:1ā4).
This is a call to do bothālove boldly and serve quietly.
Here is the simple challenge:
As a one-time act of mercy, assemble and hand-deliver 40 small food-and-aid kits to people in need in your own communityāquietly, without posting, filming, or seeking praise.
What might God do if we all said yes?
Church in America, hereās the mathāand the moment.
U.S. population: 332,000,000
Christians (67%): ā224,000,000
Neighbors experiencing homelessness (May 2025, HUD): 771,480
If every Christian builds just one set of 40 kits: 8,960,000,000 free food & aid packages
Thatās per homeless person in need: ā11,614 packages = over 31 years of daily care from a single, quiet, one-time act
Let that sink in. One afternoon. One humble āyes.ā And no homeless neighbor would go without a daily touchpoint of food, drink, or resources for three decades.
Suggested kit below (Totals $106.94 for 40 at a cost of $2.67/kit) - Purchased from Walmart
Local community resource page copy $0.07/page (Contains local housing, food pantry, shelters, government resources in your area with a special message from the bible)
40 Gallon Ziploc bags $4.60
40 Quart Ziploc Bags $2.82 (For the resource sheet to protect)
40 Water Bottles $5.47
48 Cokes $27.56
60 Individual packs of austin crackers $20
48 Packs of trail mix $25
46 Slim Jims $11.47
44 Fun sized hershey bars $10
It only takes 4 hours out of one of your days to buy, put together the packages, and distribute them to the people that truly need your help in your communities for a total cost of less than $110.
If you canāt do forty, do what you can.
One person helped with love is not a small thing. God multiplies loaves and fishes; He can multiply your āyes.ā
This is not a campaign; itās obedience. Not a trend; a testimony. Let compassion become a habit, not a headline.
Beloved, this is the kind of worship that feels like Christāquiet bread-breaking at the edges of the crowd. The need is immense, but so is the Body of Christ. Letās answer Him with our hands.
No cameras. No credit. Just Christ, and the neighbor He loves.
Will you step out this month and do your 40?
