Clever Canopy is a minimal, intentional branding and design business that is totally my spirit animal! I just honestly outgrew Moxie and needed to elevate my game a bit. All current clients: no worries! Your projects are still being taken care of!

Working with a designer for your website or branding is a very personal and intimate experience. You really should choose someone you "click" with. Not the cheapest or the fanciest or the one your mom's co-worker's cousin recommended. You will be working with this person for several weeks and you need to vibe with them. So, confession time: Sometimes I really doubt my imagination. I overthink and analyze designs to a point where they're clinical or sterile. That's the opposite of the feeling I want when I see something I've made!

I have to keep coaching and reminding myself to just.keep.imagining. Imagine what could that logo look like with MORE color? Or, what can I write about that will impact folks? I push through this creative block by chanting ( sometimes with a few 4 letter words in between) just. keep. imagining.

So, to you...my fellow creatives with Moxie...just. keep. imagining. It'll come.
