Introducing the Misprint Department.
We have had lots of fun selling our misprints and sample pieces during many of our pop up events! We hate to waste, but during production there are almost always minor mistakes: misaligned prints, ink smudges, burn marks etc. Sometimes these imperfections create some of our favorite pieces! Instead of wasting these perfectly good garments, we have up-cycled some of our own old pieces and want to share them with you! Moving forward we will continue to push out these 1 offs, which each carry with them a unique story! Available for purchase very soon!

One of the main reasons we took a step back from our personal brand was to grow our custom printing business, Studio Prints.

Our mission with Studio Prints is to help support other small businesses by working with our customers to create custom designs and merchandise. Additionally, like Chroma Sol, we use only water based inks to reduce our negative impact on the environment. We also offer garment sourcing for businesses looking to use eco friendly garments.

Both Chroma Sol and Studio Prints are focused on making the fashion industry less harmful to our earth.

So… we have been gone for a while. We have had a busy year of business development, moving, traveling, school, etc. We are finally ready to announce our brand change from The Vacant Studio to Chroma Sol.

Chroma Sol is a small clothing brand focused on making sustainable clothing and reducing waste. The fashion industry produces close to 100 million tons of textile waste a year. That is a statistic that did not sit well with us.

Our vision with Chroma Sol is to do our best to reduce that waste however we can. That is why we will only be producing up-cycled garments. Our collection will consist of a few thoughtful pieces made of thrifted materials and water based inks. Stay tuned for our first collection as Chroma Sol…

As we near 2026, we aim to expand ourselves as much as possible. We hope to remain at a low level of impact, but an extremely high level of care and quality. We have quite a few upcycling projects in the works we are very excited to share! Keep an eye out for any potential end of the year discounts as well 👀
