SIGN SHOP - PLASTICS DEPT TECHNICIAN
• Acura Neon Sign Company is family owned and operated and has been providing high quality signage for 37 years. We are looking for a multi-faceted person to join our team and head our plastics department. Experience in a sign shop environment a +.
• Prefer that the candidate have 1+ years experience in a sign shop or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in working with hands and a good understanding of measuring and cutting materials to exact job specifications.
• Experience working with power tools.
• Possess computer and file management skills.
• Perform some routine machine maintenance.
• Possess basic math skills and be able to work well under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work with sign shop tools and be comfortable working from a ladder, scaffold, scissor or aerial lift.
• Must be able to work extended hours while standing and have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table for extended periods of time.
• Be responsible for the productivity and quality of work, willing to work as a team member and/or independently and manage time effectively. Multi-tasking skills are critical.
• Must have excellent work ethic, dedicated, punctual and positive attitude.
• Valid Driver’s license required and must be fluent in English.
• Compensation based on experience ($15-$20/hr)
• Full-time position M-F 8 hour shifts (some OT required occasionally)

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Clean area to be prepped
• Prep surfaces properly for paint (body filler, tape, mask, sand, etc.)
• Take directions from and work closely with lead painter to insure good project management and quality control
• Maintain a consistent and timely work flow on all projects assigned to you
• Keep a positive approach to team projects and goals
• Have a great attitude that promotes a great work environment for all
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Must be detail oriented
QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working in a professional paint or body shop (1+ Year)
• Paint equipment/product knowledge and ability to use DA/compounds, etc.
• Possess beginner to standard level of paint prep/sanding tools
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Requires moderate to high level of physical activity
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Valid drivers’ license
• Familiarity with AkzoNobel Paint Systems Ultra Low VOC (A +)
• Familiarity with spraying Dryvit (A +)
• Knowledge of completing custom fabrication projects
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to read and understand detailed documentation
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 150 pounds
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, climb ladder, work from high places

• Pay: Hourly ($33,000 - $40,000 annually)

Acura Neon is looking for Sign Service & Installation technicians.

Acura Neon sign company is looking for a qualified candidates to become a part of our team! Acura Neon has served Tulsa and the 4-state area for the past 37 years offering turn-key sign manufacturing, installation and maintenance services. We are a drug free workplace. There is a 90 day probation period and a background check will be performed. Full time position with occasional weekend/night work and overnight travel. Hours will vary from week to week but are primarily from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities Include
• Assist with the installation and repair of signs, welding and service of all different sign products including the electrical connections

Qualifications
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Previous experience in the sign industry or similar trade
• Familiarity with power tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload and lift over 80 lbs
• Ability to work well in teams and take instruction
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a CDL is a +++$$$
• Must be 21 years or older and be able to pass a required drug screen
• Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces on bucket trucks and lifts
• Employee will receive on the job training
• Have an eye for detail and accuracy and take pride in your job

Acura Neon has been chosen to renovate the two pylons @ The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. We are currently in the process of dismantling the I-44 pylon but we have finished the 193rd street pylon. This involved completely dismantling and removing the 'guitar' and LED digital display. We then installed an updated 42' tall x 24' wide 10mm curved led display, fabricated and installed a 3D vacuform Hard Rock Casino Identification sign onto the display and completed the renovation with installation of Black Etalond ACM Panels. End result looks amazing, our crews get it done!

ANI is proud to have been able to work with Crossland Construction to provide the signage for the new location of Tulsa's Discovery Lab Children's Museum. The signage we were asked to fabricate and install involved a wide variety of components and unique design features resulting in some stunning results.
