Hi Vendors,
Ricky and I have had the privilege of traveling throughout the Southeast as craft show vendors for the past 16 years. We've experienced everything from small hometown outdoor festivals to large indoor shows with more than 50,000 attendees. Along the way, we've met so many wonderful people and learned what makes a truly great shopping experience for both vendors and customers.
For the past several years, we've often talked about how, as we get closer to retirement, we'd love to bring everything we've learned back home and create a special Christmas show right here in Brookhaven, Mississippi. That dream has now become A Southern Christmas, and we're so excited to share it with you.
As fellow vendors, we know firsthand what it feels like to arrive at a show and truly feel welcomed and appreciated. We also know the time, effort, and investment that goes into every event you choose to attend. Because of that, we want A Southern Christmas to be a show where you feel valued from the moment you arrive. We believe it's the little things that make a big difference, and we want to show our appreciation for your decision to be part of a brand-new event that we hope will continue to grow for many years to come. Ricky and I will always be available to answer questions, help solve problems, or assist in any way we can throughout the weekend. To help make your experience more enjoyable, we'll provide lunch for all vendors on both Friday and Saturday. We'll also have a Vendor Lounge stocked with complimentary snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water so you can take a break and recharge during the show. To help create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, security will be on-site throughout the event so that both vendors and shoppers can feel comfortable and secure.
On Saturday morning, we're excited to welcome a professional Mrs. Claus and Santa, who will be visiting with children and posing for holiday photos—creating special memories and adding to the festive Christmas atmosphere.
As a bonus, the Lincoln Civic Center will also be hosting its annual Youth Rodeo the same weekend as A Southern Christmas. We anticipate this will bring even more visitors to the venue, providing additional exposure and shopping opportunities for our vendors.
Our goal is to create a fun, festive event that families look forward to attending year after year while giving our vendors the best opportunity for a successful weekend.
We are committed to promoting A Southern Christmas and attracting shoppers from throughout our region. Our marketing plan includes local radio advertising, radio interviews, flyers, yard signs, and advertising throughout Brookhaven and the surrounding counties. We are also exploring the possibility of television advertising, depending on available budget and cost.
We encourage each of our vendors to help spread the word as well. Sharing the event on your social media pages, with family and friends, and within your local community will help us reach even more shoppers. The more we work together to promote the show, the more successful it will be for everyone.
Our goal is to build A Southern Christmas into a holiday tradition that shoppers look forward to attending year after year, and we are grateful to have you as part of that journey.
A Southern Christmas is a juried craft show dedicated to showcasing the very best artisans, makers, and small businesses. Our goal is to offer shoppers a carefully curated selection of high-quality, unique, and handcrafted products.
To provide a great shopping experience and help every vendor succeed, we intentionally limit duplicate product categories. You won't find multiple vendors selling the same type of merchandise, such as jewelry, boutique clothing, or other similar product lines. This allows each vendor the opportunity to stand out and gives shoppers a wider variety of products to enjoy.
We're also excited to feature our Sugar Plum Sweets room, a special holiday marketplace dedicated to homemade baked goods and sweet treats. The room will be beautifully decorated by A Southern Christmas in our festive Sugar Plum theme. Each vendor space includes a 6-foot table with a tablecloth, and the booth fee is $75 for both days. Space is limited, so we encourage interested vendors to apply early.
Our standard vendor spaces are 10' x 10' booths for $280. We are also considering offering a limited number of 10' x 5' half booths for $140. Because these spaces are very limited and cannot be guaranteed, vendors interested in a half booth should email [email protected] to be considered. We encourage all vendors to decorate their booths with a festive holiday theme that complements their products and helps create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that A Southern Christmas is all about.
