En 1892, Juan Chalita llegó a Veracruz desde du natal Beirut, dejando allá a su esposa y a sus 8 hijos.
Cuando estableció sus raíces viajó del Libano a Guadalajara su hijo Mansur.
El joven montó su comercio en Pedro Moreno, donde ofrecía a la clientela, principalmente artículos de mercería.
En 1906 Chalita era ya el dueño del negocio frente al que había comenzado como comerciante y viajó a Líbano para casarse con Esmeralda Bitar, con quien tuvó tres hijos, Alfonso, 1907, Isabel 1909, y Emilio 1910.
En 1927, los hijos menores Alfonso, Isabel y Emilio se hicieron cargo de la tienda, que bajo el nombre de Chalita, ocupó un lugar importante en el desarrollo económico de Guadalajara durante más de medio siglo.
Chalita formó parte del grupo fundador de Plaza del Sol en Guadalajara y cuando el negocio familiar se dividió, la cuarta generación incursionó en otros campos como el inmobiliario.

My Consulting Company is growing and I'm looking for a Social Analyst to join my team for a VERY COOL agency/brand!

We are looking for someone to be responsible for social listening reporting deliverables using Net Base (or Brandwatch).
A key partner to my agency-client account team and trusted advisor and resident social expert.
Candidate will be closely aligned with media client teams to work alongside and will collaborate on providing actionable optimization recommendations for both content creation and media activation.
This is remote and on a freelance basis.

Social Media Analyst Responsibilities:
Analyzing social media post metrics.
Making a note of posts that perform poorly and finding evidence for why this may be.
Reporting to the Social Media Director to inform them of the success of social media campaigns.
Providing constructive criticism to content creators to help them make improvements.
Observing follower engagement and building a report on their behaviors.
Researching new social media trends and tools.
Keeping abreast of current events and pop culture to better understand user behavior.

Social Media Analyst Requirements:
3-4 years of experience in a quantitative data driven field
A degree in marketing, communications, or media, or training with social media.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
The ability to analyze data (specifically related to user behavior and engagement).
Excellent communication and presentation development and delivery skills.
The ability to provide constructive criticism.
Passion for the food industry and how social media impacts consumption and preferences.
Knowledge of Social Listening tools (such as NetBase, Iconosquare) is a plus.
Master of spreadsheets and data processing (Google Sheets/Excel)
Bilingual (Eng/Spa) a HUGE plus.
Must be able to work in the USA but could be remote from LATAM or anywhere.
