🗣️June 17th from 6-8pm The Lot Radio and DJ, producer, and Magic City label head Jubilee host an event celebrating everything we love about dancing and dance music in NYC with DJ / producer Eli Escobar.
📻 The Lot Radio is a Brooklyn-based independent radio station broadcasting live from a reclaimed shipping container, known for its eclectic, genre-spanning programming. The station has become a cornerstone of NYC’s dance music community, spotlighting both emerging and established DJs while fostering an inclusive, grassroots culture around creative music.
🦩Jubilee is a mainstay in NYC club culture, connecting techno, bass music, dancehall and breaks in her sets and her production in a way that continues to feel exciting and effortless. She’s introduced new artists to the world by championing folks on the radio, and via her Magic City record label and party of the same name, which has featured Trina, Boys Noize, Dj Technics, ?uestionmarc, Om Unit, Black Noi$e, and Luke Vibert.
🪩 Eli Escobar is a New York-based DJ, producer, and label owner whose genre-spanning sets and productions have made him a defining figure in underground dance music for over two decades. Emerging from New York’s nightlife scene in the 1990s, Escobar has built a reputation for blending house, disco, techno, and club music with deep musical knowledge and forward-thinking energy.
With releases on labels including Phonica, Razor-N-Tape, and Defected’s Classic imprint, alongside his own label Night People, Escobar has also remixed artists such as Lana Del Rey, Honey Dijon, and Cakes Da Killa. A longtime fixture at venues like House of Yes and Le Bain, he remains one of NYC nightlife’s most respected selectors and producers.
