I got activated on the trials today to officially be a trail maintainer with NYC’s Super Stewards Program!

I've walked these trails my entire life and only now through this program have I been able to identify and help support native species. Now I have the knowledge, equipment and support to enhance these beautiful spaces by removing invasive plants, maintaining trails, cleaning litter and reporting conditions to the parks department so WE can steward these spaces to ensure wildlife can thrive

This is an opportunity to give back to the land and open the door to likeminded people who share a mission for protecting our planet and I’m so proud to be apart of it ❤️‍🔥🌎🌱
