Confession: I secretly love F1. 🏎️💨

With the first practice session of the season about to begin, I’m filled with excitement.

One of the most fascinating things about F1 is how pit stops have evolved. This video perfectly captures that transformation—from over a minute in the 1950s to under two seconds today. Every aspect of the process has been fine-tuned: faster decisions, better coordination, and the seamless integration of technology to push efficiency to its limits.

It’s a powerful example of how incremental improvements, automation, and innovation drive performance.

Of course, you would!

But this is the impact poor data quality has on your business.
It’s silent but deadly, slowly eroding your decision-making, throwing off forecasts, and misleading your strategy.

But here’s the real danger: most businesses don’t realize their data is flawed until it’s too late. By the time the numbers don’t add up, opportunities have been missed, budgets have been wasted, and teams have made decisions based on fiction rather than fact.

Trusting your data isn’t about having more of it, it’s about ensuring it’s accurate, complete, and actionable.

Here are actual meetings I’ve sat in:

➡️ Marketing claimed a campaign outperformed last year, until we asked, "Did these leads turn into customers?" The CRM couldn’t tell us, and no one knew how to find the data.
➡️ Sales celebrated pipeline growth, until we realized SDRs and AEs were duplicating deals for the same prospect.
➡️ Leadership spent two hours debating if a “customer” was actually a customer. “I know it says customer, but do we know if it’s a customer customer?”

If your sales team is tired of endlessly cold calling just to receive very few responses and achieve low ROI, know there’s a better way.

Consumers are burnt out on random cold calls and irrelevant prospecting emails. We’re in an age where personalization in sales and marketing communications is a requirement.

A strategy made to help sales and marketing target best-fit accounts and engage and delight them through hyper-personalized content is account based marketing, or ABM. ABM, especially when paired with another organizational alignment strategy like RevOps, increases efficiency and ROI through cross-team alignment.
