and I went to on Monday and it was glorious! I highly recommend stopping in when you have some time to spend there.
My google review for those interested:
This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry! There are so many gorgeous fabrics to look through and making decisions is not easy.
When we arrived, we were asked to wash our hands in the back bathroom. Once we were done with that, we were given a tour by Elfriede wherein we learned that all of her fabrics are natural: gorgeous silks, so much wool, cotton, canvas and a small amount of plant-based rayon.
The team curates an incredible selection of patterns. There are gorgeous cotton solids, batiks and really unique and fun patterns.
Somehow the store was somewhat busy on a Monday afternoon, so it did take a moment to get fabric cut and to check out. The customer service is wonderful, so the three employees that were there were working reasonably quickly - but at a boutique store pace. It wasn't a place where their main goal is to get you out immediately. (think fine dining vs. fast food)
I purchased fat quarters and a lovely dandelion patterned cotton. Fat quarters are $2/each or $10/6.
We will definitely return and highly recommend following the store on social media to see the unique fabrics they have in store.
