Good morning! Brownsville Main Street has been certified as an 2026 Main Street Program by Main Street America and Tennessee Main Street. MSB files an annual report showing how our program is meeting the standards set by our national and state organizations.
Currently we have our Downtown Improvement Grant that has seven businesses receiving Facade grants.
MSB received a USDA grant for Downtown Redevelopment planning that is in progress.
Recently, we were one of ten communities in Tennessee to receive technical assistance and onsite visits to help with our food and beverage industry here in Brownsville.

Our prayers and love go out to the families who are devastated by Friday’s events. No parent should have to grieve the loss of a child in such a heartbreaking manner. No child should have to recover in the hospital from needless violence. May God cover the families with his love, grace, and mercy.
