Monday 🔎
•America 250 scavenger hunt at the Carnegie History Center (this event is happening anytime now- June 12) complete the scavenger hunt and claim a prize!

Tuesday 📖
• check out story time at Wonderful Words Bookshoppe (10:30)
• head across the street for some classical music at St. Andrews Episcopal Church (12:15-1:00)

Wednesday 🏃‍♀️
•visit the century square green for a free stroller strides class with Fit4mom BCS

Thursday ⚾️
•grab affordable tickets and check out the newest local team the Brazos Yard Dogs for their opening game (7:00)
• get a good deal and keep those kids busy at Grand Station

Friday🍿
• Vendor market at Hotel McCoy (5:00-9:00)
•Free movie night at Stage 12 ( showing Inside Out) (7:00-8:30)

Saturday 🩰
• Meet the Author, Chip Hill of the Cloudland series at Wonderful Words Bookshoppe (1:00-4:00)
•Once upon a time presented by the Ballet Academy at Rudder Auditorium (showtimes at 1:30 on Saturday and 3:45 on Sunday)
• Check out another local team and watch the Twin City Toucans game (7:00)
• Rountree TCG trade night (6:00-10:00) for all the kiddos who love Trading Card Games

Sunday 🛍️
•Rountree Market (12:00-4:00)
•Sunday Family Day at Larry J.Ringer library (2:00-3:00) Cartoon Afternoon showing Arthur and Weather hunters snacks available.
•Remembering the Fallen at the Museum of the American G.I. Check out a 21 gun salute as well as other things to remember our fallen service members this Memorial Day weekend. (2:45-3:15)

This week has been busy, hard, and overwhelming. End of school crazies, summer fast approaching, and so much on a never ending to do list.

Today we celebrate you—your love, your patience, your strength, and all the little (and big) ways you show up for your people every single day.

Whether your day looks picture-perfect or beautifully chaotic 😅 I hope you feel appreciated, loved, and celebrated today.

The park trips, bedtime snuggles, snack packing, coffee reheating, and everyday moments matter more than you know 🤍

Mama Moment 🌿✨

Step outside with your little one today—just for a nature walk. No destination, no rush, no agenda. Let them lead the way… even if that means stopping for every rock, stick, and “treasure” they find.

Notice how the world slows down when you match their pace. The way their hand fits in yours. The way they point at everything like it’s the first time they’ve ever seen it.

This is your reminder that connection doesn’t always come from doing more—it often comes from doing less, together.

So today, trade the to-do list for fresh air. Trade the noise for birdsong. Trade perfect for present.

You don’t need a long walk. Just a shared one. 🌾
