In 1997, after having already worked in the promotional products industry for fifteen years, Carolyn Erwin felt a strong calling to launch a promotional advertising agency. She had a vision for what she wanted this business to be - more about serving the customer and being a part of their creative process, by providing valuable solutions for their promotional needs. After much prayer, everything c
ame together, as she felt the Lord assuring her “This is not about you, others will be blessed by this.” Besides Carolyn’s hopes that her different approach to this industry would be especially beneficial to her clients, she also set out to make a more creative-inducing, flexible and positive work environment for her employees. Through the years, God has brought many team members to be a part of Promotional Ideas with each individual having their own unique skills and talents that were needed to help fulfill this mission. The Promotional Ideas’ team approach to serving their clients has allowed them to help in a more full service capacity. They embrace their clients’ objectives and help them come to life - from creative ideas, designs and solutions. Many of their clients have been with them since they opened their doors 25 years ago and some have been working with Carolyn her entire career. As they celebrate their 25th Anniversary, Jenny Halpain, is also celebrating her 20th Anniversary with Promotional Ideas! Jenny came on board full time as the graphic artist in 2002, after graduating from the Art Institute of Dallas. The reoccurring response from Promotional Ideas’ clients always seem to include these phrases: “We trust you, work your magic!”, “You make us look so good!”, “You made it so easy for us!”, “Wow, this project exceeded our expectations!”.
