Among all the light that she was, she modeled what “owning your brand” looks like. A natural brand strategist as well as a beloved icon. We will always love you. Thank you for showing us how to use success for good, how to love and care for so many, so generously.

We have three Saturdays left.

Three Saturdays before Labor Day.
Before summer unofficially ends.
Before businesses snap back into fall mode.

A few weeks ago, I was saying, “Fall is closer than you think.”

Well, now it’s here.

If your positioning isn’t quite landing, your messaging isn’t resonating, or your brand isn’t clearly communicating the value of the business you’ve built, this is not the moment to simply turn up the marketing.

It’s the moment to calibrate.

Look at what you’re planning for fall.

What is the goal?

Who are you trying to reach?

What do they need to understand, believe, and trust about your brand?

And is your current positioning, messaging, and creative doing that work?

You still have time to make precise, strategic adjustments before you amplify your message across everything you’re about to put into market.

While you can’t rebrand by fall, you can recalibrate for it.

There’s still time.

But the time to recalibrate is now.

Fall readiness doesn’t happen in the fall.

Fall is closer than you think.

That’s why every Strategic Advisory Session begins with the first step of the Calibrate C5 Framework: Clarity.

What is the goal?
Who are we trying to reach?
What do they need to understand, believe, and trust about your brand?

Only then can we evaluate your positioning and messaging with precision.
That’s when the opportunities become clear. Not wholesale changes - strategic recalibrations that strengthen connection, build trust, and move your business toward its goals.

If you know something needs to change but aren’t sure what comes next, a Strategic Advisory Session will give you the clarity and action plan to move forward with confidence.

Because more marketing only amplifies messaging that doesn’t resonate. Send me a message, and we can discuss if this is for you.

Fall is closer than you think.

If you’re struggling to resonate with your ideal clients, earn more conversations, or clearly communicate your value, it may not be a marketing problem.

It may be a brand calibration issue. More specifically, your positioning and messaging.

I’m opening two Strategic Advisory Sessions in July and two in August for founders who want to recalibrate their positioning and messaging before fall outreach begins.

Now is the time to recalibrate so you’re ready when opportunities pick up.

If your business has evolved but your brand hasn’t kept pace, and you want my eyes on it, send me a direct message or comment “ADVISORY” below.

Experiences. Brand strategy ✅

The 2026 FIFA World Cup isn't just a soccer tournament. For brands paying attention, it's a masterclass in experience economy strategy.

FOX One needed to launch its brand to a country that largely didn't know it existed. Their answer: build a glass-enclosed pop-up living room in the middle of Times Square, pay two fans $50,000 each to watch every match inside it and let millions of tourists and passersby do the rest. The FOX CMO said they could have spent five times as much and it still would have been worth it. The Cube didn't run ads — it became one.

In Seattle, the Sounders and Reign took a different approach. They turned Elliott Bay into a soccer destination, building a floating pitch framed by the city skyline and Waterfront Park. More than 650,000 visitors have already come through since the tournament began. The venue also serves as the symbolic fulfillment of a pledge the clubs made before the World Cup: 52 free mini-pitches built in underserved communities across Washington state. Fan acquisition and community investment in a single structure.

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, co-hosting watch parties with DraftKings, framed the underlying strategy: "For things to catch on, you need other avenues to expose the game to people. You've got to be in the mix."
The lesson that runs through all of it: in a saturated media environment, the most valuable thing a brand can create isn't a campaign. It's an experience people want to be part of, photograph and talk about.

The Cube cost a fraction of a traditional media buy. The Barge repurposed a cargo vessel. Neither required a massive budget. Both required an idea nobody else had.

The brands winning the World Cup never kicked a ball. They understood that the real product was never the game itself — it was the chance to be part of something bigger than it.

A great email to receive! This time; to us! USPTO registered trademark renewed. Protecting your brand’s IP and equity is part of the strategic brand process, especially if an exit/succession is on your “Climb Route”. In the first step in our brand engagements, we define and map out the Climb Route. A clear destination inspires attunement and fuels attainment. It’s amazing to see our clients reach their “pinnacle path” in an accelerated timeline than planned. Thoughts become destinations.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping extraordinary founders whose expertise exceeds what their brand is currently conveying.

The breakthrough doesn't come from working harder. It comes from making strategic adjustments to positioning, messaging, and the overall brand experience.

The impact shows up in revenue.

It shows up in profit margin.

But what excites me most is what happens to the founder.

When founders begin to see their business differently, they begin to see themselves differently. Their confidence grows. Their decisions become clearer. Opportunities that once felt out of reach suddenly feel possible, because they are.

When a founder's identity evolves to match their expertise, growth becomes far more accessible.

The journey from expert to recognized authority isn't accidental. It requires intentional brand leadership and strategic recalibration.

If your brand no longer reflects the caliber of your work, the challenge may not be branding at all. It may be strategic positioning, messaging, or the experience you're creating for prospective clients.

That experience includes every touchpoint in the branded sales experience - from the first impression to the sales conversation itself - intentionally designed to build trust, communicate value, and make the decision to engage feel like the obvious next step.

If you feel your business is capable of more, but your brand isn't fully communicating the value you bring to the market, get in touch. I'd love to help you uncover what's holding growth back and identify the adjustments that can move your business forward with greater confidence and momentum.

Today is a celebration day! 38 years, what a ride! It feels like I'm just hitting my stride! Betting on yourself is an act of courage, faith, and belief. IYKYK...You can not outperform your identity, so you need to elevate as you grow. I can say this journey has been my greatest teacher of what's possible.
