My 2 ½-year-old granddaughter, Wrenna, has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. She’s been… Joe Nicastro needs your support for Support Wrenna's Battle

04/17/2024

Someone once said if you take care of someone with dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they get the diagnosis, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they pass away. This is called "ambigua loss".

I don't wish dementia on anyone. As the brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. They could end up lying in bed, not moving and not eating or drinking.

There will be people who will scroll past this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has battled or is still battling dementia.

To raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would like my friends to put this on their page today.
Hold your finger on the post to copy and paste to your timeline.

A special thank you to anyone willing to put this on their timeline for Alzheimers Awareness Week! 💜

Our online issue will feature a section on Covid-19
What It Is and What To Do

From time to time, we must face things outside of our control. The current situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. In times like these, we can try to help ease our minds and set our perspective on the positive things: the things we can control.

We understand the challenges the business community is facing, and we're committed to helping you navigate over these hurdles. We are offering

free posting of your message to our website and social media– just email us what you'd like to say! [email protected]

We must remain optimistic that things will improve quickly. In the meantime, we need to figure out ways to inform residents about businesses that are still operating.

How can we help you get the word out that you’re offering something special or out of the norm, like curbside pick-up, delivery-shopping on your website? If you need a website, we can help you quickly get one up and running. If you want a shopping cart to sell online, we can help you as well. Digital campaigns are a great way to get the word out fast. We want to let those residents know you are still here and plan to be here.

With residents at home, checking emails, on their phones and computers we are going to send out a weekly digital newspaper via email to local residents that have opted in to receive them. With an average list of over 25,000 email addresses and low rates, this is one way to help you get your message out through these difficult times.

You can choose any paper or combination of papers we will run your 1/4-page ad for $50.00, 1/2 Page for $75 and/or a full page for $95.00 - all rates are per paper per week. You can run once or weekly and change your ad anytime.

Let the residents know you are still offering your services or send a message that you are thinking of them and look forward to working with them when things are back to normal.

Please let us know if you have any ideas as to how we as a paper can help small businesses. Our ears are open.

Our first issue will be emailed on March 27 the Deadline is March 25th
