We bought a building! 🔨

This is more than just a new shop—it's the start of an exciting new chapter. With so much more room to grow, create, and take on even bigger projects, we can't wait to show you what's next.

This building will become the home of TG Wood Group—bringing together the craftsmanship of Nickel City Woodworking and Helix Carpentry under one roof.

From custom furniture and cutting boards to built-ins, cabinetry, trim work, and everything in between, we're just getting started. We have some big plans for this space, and we can't wait to bring you along for the journey.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. Your support has made moments like this possible, and we're so excited for everything that's ahead.

When you’re the only carpenter in the U.S. making Zocca stools, sometimes you have to build the tools to get the job done.

We recently configured a custom press to make production more efficient and help us scale wholesale orders while keeping the craftsmanship and quality these stools are known for.

Lots of cabinet door work happening in the shop this week! Custom poplar doors and MDF shaker-style doors being built for a local project. Can’t wait to see these installed. 🔨

We recently crafted these custom hard maple light displays for our friends at LED LINEAR, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. The warm tones and natural grain of the maple create an incredible contrast against the crisp LED lighting.

Wrapped up this beautiful Ambrosia Maple install for Three Little Hens Baking Co.

Custom tables, countertop, and bench all built from one of our favorite woods. The grain, color, and character in Ambrosia Maple never disappoint.
