Sneak peeks of production ๐Ÿ‘€

While we can't show *all* the details of what we print, we can show off the cool processes that make them.

For smaller pieces such as envelopes, cards, and flyers we use these top-feeding presses to quickly get them ready to go.

Feed the beast!
๐Ÿ—ž + ๐ŸŽจ = ๐ŸŽ
In our opinions one of the most hypnotizing parts of the printing process is watching sheets being fed into the press.

Using tiny vacuum arms, jets of air to separate the individual sheets, and a lot of precision, huge pallets of paper are fed into the press at a rate of thousands per minute.

Time to change the plates!

These flexible aluminum plates are a crucial part in our printing process. They're specially treated to only accept ink in certain places (the areas seen in blue).

As these plates rotate around the drum. They transfer ink to a blanket which then transfers the color to a sheet of paper, whizzing by underneath.

Layering several of these color passes is what produces the full image you see in the final print.

A closed gate fold is made by first folding the two ends in to the middle, then folding what is left in half. Gate folds are best when the piece is pre-scored.
