The North Carolina Blueberry Festival in Burgaw, NC is shaping up to be one of the state’s best early summer events! Held in the charming downtown streets of Burgaw each June, the festival celebrates southeastern North Carolina’s deep blueberry roots with a full day of sights, sounds, and small-town fun. As you walk through town, you’ll hear live music playing from the main stage while the smell of fresh barbecue and baked goods drifts through rows of arts and craft vendors. Farmers from across Pender and nearby counties bring baskets of fresh local blueberries, along with blueberry pies, cakes, drinks, and other sweet treats. Families enjoy the car and truck show, kids activities, and the lively crowds gathering around the festival. The 2026 North Carolina Blueberry Festival takes place June 19–20, with a Friday night concert at 7:30 PM and free admission all day Saturday, June 20, in downtown Burgaw.
