When creating a new brand, we’re always looking for unexpected ways to see and communicate in a fresh and joyful way. My friend, David Robinson, has a great last name, and it wasn’t until the Discovery Phase of his new lawn care brand that I saw the name afresh, imagined the bird overlooking a pastoral lawn, and wanted it all to integrate inside a classic badge shape. We're so looking forward to wear the tee shirt!

We were excited to partner with in bringing a social district to their downtown space. This was a brand new program that had never been done in Alamance County, and it took a good bit of research as well as working with the right people to bring the project together. Jill Weston, who is the Downtown Development Director, managed the project and is always a great to work with, and Brad Harmon, owner of , provided all sorts of helpful input regarding regulations, material recommendations, and general best-practices for signage programs.

The final project includes a brand mark, wayfinding signs, information about the program on the signs and Town website, a social district footprint map, Social District beverage stickers, and window stickers identifying how businesses are participating. We enjoyed being a part of creating a more connected and enjoyable downtown experience!

Teegan is an experienced engineer, and when she told me about her new woodworking venture — and the amazing creature that inspired her name — I was enthralled. I had actually seen one of these little guys (see actual photo #4) on my old office window, years ago, and was delighted that such an adorable creature exists.

This brand was a blast to create, and Teegan is awesome to work with … and when you have an engineer designing your custom woodworking project, expect a masterpiece.
