The brand is very much rooted in respect for traditional methods, yet also has a fascination with contemporary styles and innovations, and we were able to strike that balance with the logo itself too.

NEW WORK: We love working with entrepreneurs to turn their visions into reality, and that’s exactly what happened here with a new clothing brand called Warren (Warren Brand). We developed the brand name, designed the logo and identity, developed a full brand story, built out the e-comm website on Shopify (www.wearwarren.com), designed the packaging, and all the rest. We'll have more on this one soon, but the news broke last week that Methodikal had just finished a rebranding project for Trapp Family Lodge as they updated the name, logo, tagline, and brand identity. The project was spurred by the resort's desire to be more clearly associated with the family's famous story from The Sound of Music, including reintroducing the 'von' into the name. We also introduced a new tagline, "Come for our story. Leave with your own." that helps make a more contemporary connection for guests. The new logo features the bell tower from the main lodge building, which is the first thing that greets guests when they arrive and is the sole surviving piece of the original lodge building that tragically burned down back in 1980. This was a super fun project to work on with the family and the resort team, and it's always a treat to be entrusted with updating such a famous and well-regarded brand. Thanks Trapps, it's been a pleasure.

NEW WORK: We’re huge music fans, so having Lebanon Opera House as Methodikal's longest-tenured client just feels right. Recently, we helped them rebrand to support LOH’s 100th anniversary and a new capital campaign. The new brand story and tagline, "The Art & Soul of the Upper Valley," emphasizes LOH's role in bringing the Upper Valley community together and in creating a vibrant arts scene. The distinct O's in the new LOH logo are a nod to the shape of the doors of the building, which subtly suggests the act of welcoming people to the theatre. The color palette is intentionally flexible, with a rainbow of choices available to complement any genre of music, comedy, or theatre. Here’s the full story: https://methodikal.net/loh

"I brought you something from Mirabelles!" has long been music to the ears of food lovers around Burlington, Vermont, so when they asked Methodikal to redesign the packaging for their line of frozen croissants and cinnamon rolls, we were only too happy (and hungry) to help. The client was looking to expand their retail presence, targeting high-end national retailers like Whole Foods, and they knew they needed to up their packaging game to compete in that highly competitive marketplace. The City of South Burlington hired us to develop a brand identity for Illuminate Vermont, a new winter festival aimed at attracting a more diverse audience. The logo design and brand identity we created infused the event with energy and gave a sense of what things would be like, even though it was a first-time event and imagery was limited.

Aside from the logo and brand identity, we also created a full suite of tools to help raise awareness, drive attendance, and support vendors and sponsors. This included website design and writing, poster design, advertising, and social media templates. The event was a huge success, with attendance far exceeding expectations. NEW WORK ALERT: North Country Animal League asked us to help them transform their branding to better reflect their larger mission and expanded programming, as well as to create something more unique and adaptable. The solution we came up with features the silhouette of a happy pup in the negative space of the letter C, a nod to the symbiotic relationship and happiness that comes from humans and pets uniting through NCAL's services. It also gave us the flexibility to feature other animals in NCAL's sub-brands, including a horse and a kitten. Methodikal’s studio pups, Piper and Billie, fully approved of this project.
