Yesterday during a video shoot we got the opportunity to experience one of the most authentic brands we've ever encountered. No joke. Lahout's - America's Oldest Ski Shop is a treasure. Here's what struck us. Family and community. Walking into Lahout's and meeting Phebe Lahout and her family is like walking into a living, breathing shrine to skiing and a love for the community that's been passed down from generation to generation. So much has been written about the legend of Lahout's. They've been covered in Yankee Magazine, The Boston Globe and the Washington Post. There have been documentaries and countless news stories. You'd think all the stories have been told and yet as we walked around the shop they had more to passionately share with us. Here's the old phone that Joe Sr. used to call reps collect on and then quickly hang up so they'd call back and foot the phone bill. Yankee thrift at its best! He's an old bottle of bourbon the family shared and all signed many Christmas Eve's ago along with other cans and bottles from special moments past. "Each one has a story" we're told and we can believe it. Over here is the front door signed by all the famous skiers and celebrities who've made the pilgrimage to the store but more precious is the fact that it's the same screened door and entrance from when the store was a grange hall in the early 1900's. How many generations have passed through this? Here's a huge banner that was hand painted to cheer on "local kid done good" bode Bode Miller. Here are old race bibs, vintage leather ski boots and even a 1980's Ski-Tote! Remember those? And here are the skis the family gave Joe Sr. on his 90th birthday that they all lovingly signed. In the spot where put your shoes reads the words "Too Big To Fill". Big shoes to fill indeed and yet Phebe and her family are keeping the brand and its special place in the ski community alive. Leaning into the past by using ancient hand hewn Lahout's logos on current day merchandise. There's an authenticity in those old logos you just can't recreate and in the mass market, ecom, Amazon world of business there's something about shopping at a place like Lahout's you just can't recreate either. Kudos, Lahout's. Here's to another 100 more years. Lahout's - America's Oldest Ski Shop,

Total "brandsformation" moment! We recently helped Chandler Four Corners with an ambitious rebranding. From brand positioning, campaign development, and a new logo / identity system to a full Shopify website build. Our goal was to celebrate and elevate their iconic hand-hooked pillows and the shared passions they have with their customers. Steve Crafts, Keri Piatek-Crafts, Erin Bradbury Gilmer, Jordan Meserole

We've had logos and identity systems we've created roll out onto some amazing things but A WEATHERVANE IS A FIRST! So cool to see the work we did for Stowe Country Club coming to life! This system had to work on everything from wearables, merchandise, embroidery and golf carts to golf balls and even the tops of tees - and of course a weathervane. Awesome to work with such an amazing team! Keri Piatek-Crafts, Bret Murray, Steve Crafts!

To commemorate Vermont’s 250th anniversary, we worked with The State of Vermont to develop a brand identity that bridges the state’s past and future. This visual identity was crafted to accommodate diverse perspectives and honor Vermont’s unique history while inspiring forward-thinking initiatives. With a modern color palette and versatile design, it embodies Vermont’s spirit of progress and inclusivity.

New "place" based branding! Unveiling the new identity, tagline and supporting brand roll out for the City of Essex Junction! "Where it all comes together". Our design is an abstraction of the iconic 5 Corners and speaks to connection and community. Thanks to the "JCT." community and team for "shopping local" and working with Vermont based Place Creative Co.!

Cycling season is finally here! We loved doing these commercials for Union Bank, VT & NH that focused on some of great area businesses they work with like Ranch Camp in Stowe. If you've never been there it's an amazing spot to start or end your ride!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Our recent campaign for CSWD is raising awareness about the overlooked environmental impact food scraps have when they end up in Vermont's only landfill.

Our Meta survey received over 1,800 responses and yielded valuable insights.

What we learned: While many Vermonters care about the environment they simply didn't realize food scraps were a significant source of carbon pollution and were shocked.

So we developed a campaign that raised awareness by comparing food scraps to common carbon polluting practices people avoid like driving, idling and burning fossil fuels.

The results: Awareness, engagement, dialog and change.
