I am so excited to share that I have been selected as the recipient of scholarships from Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minnesota Masonic Charities, Student Government at Minnesota State Mankato, General Mills, Barnes & Noble and Students United.

As many of you know, my mother continues to receive cancer prevention treatment from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The scholarships I receive reduce the number of student loans I have to pay after graduation.

In addition to my scholarships, I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected as the winner of the 2021 Timothy J. Penny Federal & State Public Service Fellowship from Students United!

The Timothy J. Penny Federal Public Service Fellowship has provided me with the funding to complete a summer press internship in Washington D.C. for a Minnesota Representative! I plan on spending the summer in Washington D.C. after my graduation in Spring 2022.

I have aspired to work in government communications since I began college and the opportunity to start my career in the Capitol of the United States is a dream come true.

I want to thank everyone that has supported me throughout my college career and I can't wait to see where this experience will take me in the future!
