I haven't really known how to express myself since one of my best friends, my father-in-law, Bob Stolzenberg, passed away on the 27th... He battled cancer for the second time; it was aggressive, and it kicked his ass. He would not like to be remembered that way, so it works best that only a few of his closest helped him through that. I would like to give a big shoutout to Buffalo Medical Group for being there for him during his very brutal days, receiving hydration treatments along with steroids. The best nurses and staff I have ever experienced. We will be doing something for you all; you deserve it.
I am happy he was able to go with us to Sunny Days and Holy Smokes festivals, music was a huge part of Bob's life and Trop has been his favorite band for the past 5 years. Despite having some issues at Holy Smokes, he was able to see two nights of music and absolutely loved it! Bob went to the last 3 Everwild Festivals and was VIP every year. He handed out slaps for me and had an amazing time! I am surprised he didn't get tickets for next year, but it was on his mind all the time.
My family and I are still struggling with this loss, and this Friday is going to be bittersweet. My wife, two daughters, brother, uncle, and a few friends are going to the Tropidelic and Artikal Sound System at Electric City. I will have some stickers ready that Bob wanted to do, and we will try to get some very dear to us photos signed for our wall. I will have some posts coming up with some pics of the stickers we are giving away and if anyone knew Bob, and would like any, please hit me up! I am going to make some 8:08 glow in the dark stickers too. Drive fast and take a lot of chances bro!
If anyone who knew Bob wants to leave any condolences, here is a link to the obituary I wrote for him. https://www.rutland-corwin.com/obituaries/Robert-H-Stolzenberg?obId=46232630
