“Becky, why Black & White?”

There is a children’s book called, “Love You Forever”, and one of my favorite scenes describes a toddler running around the house, getting into everything - unrolling the toilet paper and flushing his mom’s watch down the toilet. The mom is exasperated, “This kid is driving me CRAZY!”

If you’ve ever been the mom of a toddler, you know this is an accurate description of the day.

But, on the next page, the mom quietly slips into the toddler’s bedroom that night to watch him sleep and whispers the famous words, “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be.”

If you’ve ever been the mom of a toddler, you know this is an accurate description of the night.
