Getting a random OOTD text like this from someone I genuinely admire just made my whole day. 🤍 And she’s the cutest! 😍💯

Seeing powerhouse women like Shalee Uhl wear something I created will never not feel surreal to me. She’s the kind of person who inspires people just by being herself, and I’m so thankful for the way she supports local businesses and the people around her.

And honestly, that goes for all of our Local Legends. Every time you recommend us, share content, comment/engage, and the kind words and support we’ve felt means more than you know. Thank you for cheering us on while we build this dream one step at a time. 🫶

Still trying to wrap our heads around this one 🥹✨

Starting Summerhouse Creative Co. has been equal parts exciting, rewarding, stretching, and occasionally a little “what in the world are we doing?” 😂 Building something with your name, heart, and vision attached to it is a big leap.

So being seen and encouraged in the middle of building means more than we can put into words.

Huge thank you to the entire team for not just welcoming us, but for truly supporting us. From onboarding to answering our many questions (seriously… many 😅), every interaction has felt personal and encouraging. Special shoutout to for being in our corner. You’re the real MVP 🎉

And a special thank you for highlighting our story. Small businesses are built on people believing in people, and we’re incredibly grateful to have people like this in our corner.

Today was a special day. 🤍

I had the opportunity to speak at Career Day with a bunch of bright, hilarious, wildly creative 6th graders about what I do through Summerhouse Creative Co. - and honestly, I left feeling incredibly hopeful about the future.

There is SO much creativity, talent, curiosity, and potential sitting inside the next generation. Some of these kids are future photographers, designers, writers, entrepreneurs, videographers, marketers, artists, and leaders… they just may not know it yet.

One of my favorite things I got to tell them today was this:
The things that make you different might end up becoming your greatest strength someday.

Getting to encourage young creatives to dream big, stay authentic, and use social media responsibly was such an honor. I’m thankful I got to be a tiny part of their story today.

And most importantly… I successfully made it through presenting to my 6th grader’s class without completely embarrassing him, so honestly? That alone feels like a major accomplishment. 😂👏

Just the sweetest text message I’ve received in a while of my sweet DGroup girls rocking some Summerhouse Swag made just for them 🫶🏻 I passed them out last night and they all matched today and wore them (🥹)

We get together every Wednesday and talk about what’s going on in their world and what it looks like to really chase after Jesus. They have been some of my sweetest supporters and encouragers as I’ve stepped out in faith on this new journey and it just felt fitting that they get their own swag. To be honest, they all bring their own light into every room they walk into but I hope they always remember the Light they have within them through Jesus. This world is a dark place, y’all. Don’t forget to let the light in. 🫶🏻

✨Praying these girls always remember the Light they have within them and let it shine for all the world to see. They are such a blessing to me! 🫶🏻

🦈 What an honor it was to be invited to Cabot Middle School North as a “Shark” today! 🦈

Thank you for thinking of Summerhouse Creative Co. and including me in such a special experience. Getting a front-row seat to the creativity, confidence, and big ideas from these 5th grade GT students was nothing short of inspiring. ✨

👉🏼 I was blown away by how thoughtfully these students presented their business plans and their marketing ideas. The way they communicated their ideas, solved problems, and supported one another was something to be proud of. Shoutout to my sweet friend, Ginger - it was clear how much you’ve poured into these kiddos and this day! Awesome job! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Moments like this remind me just how bright the future is. If this is the next generation of leaders, creators, and innovators… we are in really good hands.

Thank you again for the opportunity - I left feeling energized, encouraged, and maybe just a little bit like I was on a real-life episode of Shark Tank! Proud to be a Panther! 🐾
