As a Gen Xer (almost Millennial, which I resonate more with), I went
through the "New Age" era. I call us the "in-betweeny group." The
perks were that It taught us things like "Love is all there is."
While this is true in many ways (it's complicated), authenticity is
actually 400 times higher the frequency of love.
Yeah. Let that one sink in for a minute.
As the bestselling author of The Energy of Words (Llewellyn Worldwide), I know all too well the real meaning behind the words we speak and their effect on us.
I'm not surprised. I grew up knowing I was so vastly different from everyone else and still, to this day, as an adult, I know I'm the odd duck out, but I've come to a place of reconciliation with it.
What's different about me? I speak my truth. ALWAYS. Many people can't handle the truth, the real truth, which is why I've come to understand that not everyone is going to like me or jive with me and that's 100 percent OKAY. In the same breath, as many people as I repel with truth, I attract ten-fold.
Being authentic means being TRUE to you, living YOUR TRUTH, which is unique. There is NO ONE like you in existence and never was. You are SO SPECIAL, MAGICAL, ORIGINAL. Authenticity is your birthright.
If things aren't going the way you want it to in your life, go back to home base...AUTHENTICITY. Your truth.
A state of gratitude is another way to bring you back to the present moment and hit the reset button but it is also just another form of authenticity. To be in a true gratitude is to be honest and truthful with yourself in all ways.
P.S. You can't fully love anything or anyone until you embody
authenticity. Otherwise, you're living a lie.
