शादी को अभी सिर्फ़ तीन महीने हुए थे। सुहानी और आरव एक-दूसरे के साथ रहने तो लगे थे, लेकिन दोनों के बीच अभी भी एक अनजान-सी झिझक थी। शादी परिवारों की पसंद से हुई थी, इसलिए मोहब्बत का रिश्ता धीरे-धीरे बन रहा था।

एक शाम सुहानी तैयार होकर कमरे से बाहर आई। आरव ने उसे देखा, लेकिन हमेशा की तरह कुछ कहने के बजाय मुस्कुराकर चुप हो गया।

सुहानी ने पूछा, “क्या हुआ? ऐसे क्यों देख रहे हो?”

आरव ने कहा, “कुछ नहीं… बस सोच रहा हूँ कि जिस लड़की को शादी के दिन पहली बार ठीक से देखा था, आज वही मेरी ज़िंदगी का सबसे खूबसूरत हिस्सा बन गई है।”

सुहानी के चेहरे पर हल्की मुस्कान आ गई।

सुहानी की कहानी — एक मुलाकात जो याद बन गई
साल 2003 की बात है। सुहानी उस समय एक छोटे से शहर में रहती थी। जिंदगी बहुत साधारण थी—सुबह कॉलेज जाना, सहेलियों के साथ बातें करना और शाम को घर लौट आना।
कॉलेज के रास्ते में एक पुराना-सा पार्क पड़ता था। सुहानी अक्सर वहाँ कुछ देर बैठकर अपनी किताबें पढ़ा करती थी। वहीं उसकी पहली मुलाकात आरव से हुई।
आरव रोज उसी पार्क की बेंच के पास बैठकर अखबार पढ़ता था। पहली बार दोनों की ठीक से बात तब हुई, जब सुहानी की किताब हवा से उड़कर उसके पास चली गई।
आरव ने किताब उठाकर मुस्कुराते हुए कहा, “शायद ये आपकी है।”
बस इतनी-सी बात थी… लेकिन उस दिन के बाद दोनों की मुलाकातें बढ़ने लगीं।
उस दौर में मोबाइल फोन हर किसी के पास नहीं होते थे। इसलिए बातें भी बहुत कम होती थीं। कभी पार्क में मुलाकात, कभी रास्ते में छोटी-सी बातचीत और कभी किसी कागज पर लिखा हुआ छोटा-सा संदेश।
धीरे-धीरे सुहानी को महसूस होने लगा कि आरव उसके लिए खास बन चुका है। आरव भी उससे अपने दिल की बात कहना चाहता था, लेकिन दोनों अपनी भावनाओं को शब्द देने से डरते थे।
एक शाम पार्क में बैठे आरव ने कहा, “अगर जिंदगी में कभी रास्ते अलग हो गए, तो क्या तुम मुझे भूल जाओगी?”
सুহानी कुछ देर चुप रही। फिर उसने मुस्कुराकर कहा, “कुछ लोग जिंदगी से चले जाते हैं… लेकिन यादों से नहीं।”

आरव वापस नहीं आया।
कई साल बाद भी जब सुहानी उसी पार्क के पास से गुजरती, तो कुछ पल के लिए रुक जाती। उसे वह पुरानी बेंच, हवा में उड़ती किताब और 2003 की वह शाम याद आ जाती।
शायद हर प्रेम कहानी का अंत साथ होना नहीं होता।
कुछ कहानियाँ अधूरी रहकर भी पूरी जिंदगी दिल के किसी कोने में जिंदा रहती हैं।

1942, during the height of World War II, thousands of American textile and steel mills worked day and night. One famous kind of story came from the factory towns of Pittsburgh and Detroit, where ordinary families helped build supplies for soldiers overseas.

Seventeen-year-old Thomas Carter lived near a noisy steel mill in Pittsburgh. Every morning before sunrise, the giant factory whistles echoed across the town. Sparks flew through the dark air as men and women rushed inside the mill.

The First Barbary War began in 1801, when the young United States faced dangerous pirate attacks in the Mediterranean Sea. At that time, ships from North Africa’s Barbary States — especially Tripolitania — demanded money from foreign countries to protect their merchant ships. If nations refused to pay, pirates captured ships and sailors.
In 1801, President Thomas Jefferson refused to continue paying tribute. The ruler of Tripoli became angry and declared war on America. It was one of the first overseas wars fought by the United States.
American warships crossed the Atlantic Ocean to protect trade routes. Young sailors spent months at sea under the burning Mediterranean sun. Cannons thundered during naval battles near the harbor of Tripoli. One famous ship, the USS Constitution, became a symbol of American strength.
A dramatic moment came in 1804 when the American ship USS Philadelphia ran aground and was captured by enemy forces. To stop the enemy from using it, American officer Stephen Decatur led a daring nighttime raid. His small team sneaked into the harbor, boarded the ship, and set it on fire before escaping safely.
In 1805, American Marines marched across the desert with local allies and attacked the city of Derna. This victory became legendary in Marine Corps history and inspired the line “to the shores of Tripoli” in the Marine Hymn.
