Women’s History Month is a chance to pause and recognize the women who paved the way for opportunities many of us now have.

For generations, women fought for the right to learn, lead, build businesses, and make decisions about their own futures.

Today, women continue to reshape industries, communities, and the way we define leadership.

If you’re building something right now, whether it’s a business, creative project, or vision you believe in, you’re a part of that ongoing story.

It’s worth celebrating!

This month, take a moment to recognize the women who influenced your path. Who inspired you to think bigger?

Hey, it’s been a while! The past couple of years have been full of new websites, rebrands, and some big personal milestones.

While I’ve loved helping recognized brands grow, I realized how much I’ve missed supporting solopreneurs, from the beginning of their business journey, turning an idea into something real and sustainable, to growing and scaling later on in their journey.

So I’m coming back to my why. This space (and the Suvdie site) is here to cheer on female entrepreneurs and share offerings created to support you in those important stages of building your business.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make in marketing is not constraining their focus.

It’s easy to get swept up in all the noise online about the latest and greatest platforms and programs to try, especially if it seems like it will help you get ahead quick.

But the best way forward- especially if you’re early in your entrepreneurial journey- is to focus on just one or two marketing goals or channels.

When you allow your focus to be split in too many directions, your impact is limited.

But when you prioritize one or two goals and laser-focus your strategies, your potential impact skyrockets.

What are your top marketing goals right now?

Helping my clients get solid results while delivering an elevated customer experience is my sweet spot. I have had the pleasure of helping clients in various stages of business- from initial startup to multiple 6 and 7-figures- build, grow, and scale their businesses while reclaiming more time for themselves.

If you are looking to elevate your business to the next level through business and/or marketing coaching, let’s connect!

I made the decision to be an entrepreneur who works 25 hours a week- a huge stretch for someone who was doing almost 3x that amount of time every week.

Achieving this goal would not have been possible without putting some systems in place and hiring some great people in my team.

One of the biggest game-changers I implemented was the use of a Client Relationship Manager (CRM), specifically Dubsado.

Why I use it:
✨ Dubsado is completely free for an to use if you have less than 3 clients! Once you hit more than 3 clients, you have the option to upgrade your plan to an unlimited number of clients for a low monthly (or annual) fee.
✨I love all things productivity and this tool has helped me automate a lot of my project and client-related busy work and tasks!
✨ It allows me to render top-notch customer service. The automations I have in place mean that I'm able to send emails, contracts, invoices, scheduling links, and reminders and confirmations without delay, enabling my clients to have what they need when they need it.
✨I’ve streamlined multiple programs and platforms by leveraging Dubsado’s many capabilities, replacing several apps that I used!

How I use it:
✨Automation: I set up automated emails to create a customized workflow for my business; pens without any work on my part and they receive support immediately.
✨Proposals: Dubsado proposals are attached to contracts and invoices. Less back and forth during the sales proccess means a much quicker time to closing the deal.
✨Scheduling: Since starting with Dubsado, I’ve been able to toss the manual booking process I was using and allow people to book at their convenience without waiting on me!
✨Invoicing: With Dubsado, all the invoices, tracking, spending, and receivables are accounted for and organized for me so I’m not trying to make sense of it later on.
✨Client Portal: This feature allows me to store all files & links where clients can access all in one place!

Have you used a CRM in your business?
And if you haven’t gotten started, DM me “Dubsado” and I’ll send you a discount code for 20% off!

Things every entrepreneur needs to prioritize:

Space. We all need to tap into our own versions of creativity- this is where big-vision dreaming and top-down planning happens. Doubly necessary if you have creative aspects within your business like design and content creation.
Boundaries. If you don’t set these, no one else will.
Self-care. What does this look like for you? It might not be bath salts and massages, self-care might even look like things you DON’T want to make time for, like meditation or time in nature. It’s easy to de-prioritize yourself but if you want your business to thrive this is essential for a clear and nourished you. Who wants to build a business from a place of exhaustion?

After being a full time entrepreneur for 2.5 years and working with many, these are the lessons I’ve learned (for better or for worse). I’ve watched business owners in early stages of business as well as owners with 8-9- figure businesses navigate burnout, lack of clarity, imposter syndrome, and exhaustion.

Let’s give your business and clients the best of you- not what’s left of you!

Michael Jordan was cut from his high school team.
Steven Spielberg was rejected from film school three times
Albert Einstein had the label ""mentally slow"" put on his permanent school record.
Oprah Winfrey was fired from an early job as a television news anchor.
Elvis Presley was fired from the Grand Ole Opry and was told to go back to truck driving.
Jerry Seinfeld was booed off stage in his first stand-up comedy appearance.

Failure is unavoidable- in business, marketing, and life.

One of the things I love about marketing and business is that failure translates to DATA.

We try things, we evaluate how they did, and we take the next step from there.

Sometimes we need a pivot, sometimes we need to try again, and sometimes we need to lean in more.

But without contrast and failure, we wouldn’t know the difference between what does and doesn’t work for us.

Embrace the full experience of life and business. Don’t shy away from failure, but rather leverage them as stepping stones to help you flourish.

Regardless of the stage of business you’re in, your biggest asset is your time.

When you become a business owner, you automatically become in charge of marketing, project management, design, copywriting, customer service, team management, accounting and finance, legal, analytics, and more - and this is on top of actually managing your products and services.

There are so many hats to wear that it can quickly become overwhelming to juggle everything.

This is why I created a roundup of some of my favorite tools to use to help streamline your business. It’s never too early to start simplifying and automating your systems- and this often allows you to better serve your clients as well.

The great news is that some of these tools are completely free!
