Our Summer In-the-Hoop Project has officially started! These sessions focus more heavily on vocational training through real work experiences combined with embroidery projects.

On the first day (Friday 6/5/2026), students did the following activities:
- Counting Stanford T-shifts
- Counting Samsung towels
- Working on the Chick Appliqué product
- Learning workplace organization and teamwork

We hope to see more meaningful growth and accomplishments from our students throughout the program! 🐢🧩☀️

On Saturday, 4/11/2026, Turtleworks attended the Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) Talent Show and set up a booth outside the performance area. We sold products that our students with special needs created and packaged through our In-The-Hoop Project lessons, and also offered custom laser engraving services at the booth! Overall, the event was a great success, and we had a wonderful time connecting with the people at the event and sharing our students’ work!
Our students had the opportunity to sell their own creations, and we hope more students can learn about and participate in this opportunity at Turtleworks. :)

We’re excited to share a few of our recent embroidery projects!

This post features work from one of our recent embroidery classes, where students spent time learning the process and creating their own designs. It’s always great to see the creativity and effort they bring to their projects.

We’re also highlighting a custom item we helped create for a company looking for a unique embroidered design for their brand. Projects like this are a big part of what we do.
