Kelli Hulea recently joined other local marketing leaders at the The Business Journal - Youngstown Publishing Co.'s Marketing Roundtable to share insights on an evolving industry. One thing remains consistent, Kelli shares:

"[Clients] are the experts. We are coming to assist them. We are the experts in marketing, but they’re the experts in their business. So I think it’s really important for us to go in with that mindset, to know that we have something to learn from the client."

Dan Pecchia and Kelli Hulea enjoyed time with some Youngstown State University royalty Thursday at the 2026 Department of Strategic Communications and Media Honors Banquet at Rachel's Westchester. From left are Adam C. Earnheardt, Dan, Kelli and Dorian Mermer. Professors Jeff Tyus, Cary Wecht, Jaietta Jackson and Paul Ditchey were also on hand to celebrate impressive student award-winners in Journalism, Communications Studies and Multimedia Communication. Dan and Kelli were among the news and communications professionals introduced as members of the department's new Professional Advisory Board. Both are proud YSU alums.

Dan Pecchia, Kelli Hulea, Tom Delamater and Maria Pecchia enjoyed the Youngstown Press Club's annual meeting & dinner with some fine guests Monday at Stambaugh Auditorium. In the first photo are Chris Gunther of the Chris Gunther Show, Maria, Kelli, Tom and Mario Ricciardi of Appleridge Productions. In the second photo are Ed Puskas of The Youngstown Vindicator and Tribune Chronicle, Warren OH, Dan, independent journalist Chris Cerenelli and Jake Capezzuto of Intwine Connect. Lynnette Forde of the Youngstown Foundation also joined us at our table.

Youngstown Mayor Derrick McDowell was the keynote speaker and talked about the city reclaiming its identity by moving past its post-industrial despair and embracing its legacy of entrepreneurship, arts & culture, outstanding athletics and more. He also sparked some pointed dialogue about the local news media. Dan had the privilege of introducing the mayor.

Kelli Hulea, Tom Delamater and Dan Pecchia enjoyed some time with clients and family Friday at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley benefit dinner at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield. There's lots of good news coming out of the Rescue Mission, with lives being totally turned around and plans in place to welcome even more people who need help.
