I’m tired of seeing ads that try to manipulate coaches, creatives, and small business owners into purchasing their program by generating fear that if one doesn’t grab their thing now they’ll miss out on true success.

It’s like a rider holding out a carrot for its horse to get it moving in the direction the rider wants the horse to go. Only, the horse never actually gets the carrot.

Successful marketing isn’t in finding the right hack. Successful marketing happens in layers.

I've experienced firsthand the anxiety of not knowing how to grow my sales.

I used to own a handyman business doing minor home repairs and building on-site storage sheds. The hardest part wasn't the work, but making sure the work kept coming while also doing the work.

Later, I felt that pressure as an author. Everyone had advice on how to sell my book. But it felt like throwing mud at a wall to see what stuck.

It made me busy and wore me out. And I wasn't sure any of it was actually working.

Now that I've worked in marketing and understand what actually brings in customers, I wish someone would have shown me the process instead of trying to sell me some secret sauce.

You don't need another tactic to try. You need a system, putting all the tactics in the right order.

When it comes to building an effective and automated marketing process, the first step is having a product or service that actually meets people's needs and is delivered with care. Automated marketing is merely leveraging and amplifying word-of-mouth and nothing spreads faster via word-of-mouth than a product/service that works and good customer care.

Many think AI allows them to work smarter instead of harder. But if that's they're engagement with AI, they'll be very frustrated. The goal should be to work smarter and harder. AI helps us do that.

Quality work will always require human interaction. If the goal is to not work hard, then you'll be out of work and dirt-poor. If you're willing to work hard, you'll always have a job, and if you can learn how to work smarter as you work hard, you'll be an invaluable asset to any company.

AI can do incredible things! You still got to know how to tell it what to do and that takes work. It takes learning skills and being able to communicate those skills to AI.

People often write website copy in sections and don’t consider whether it carries a single flow-of-thought the whole way down the page. When they do this, they will miss pulling readers into their message.
