Huge thank you to Akron Urban League for creating space for small businesses like ours to show up, be seen, to learn and be celebrated. And to Coda Social, thank you for the support, the connection, and the energy you bring to Akron’s creative and business community.

Seeing Soul Bowl 330 represented this way is a reminder of why we started: soulful food, simple ex*****on, and experiences that satisfy more than just hunger.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re staying rooted in our mission while quietly preparing for new ways to show up in the community, meet people where they are, and share our food beyond traditional events. Same heart. Same flavors. Just more opportunities to connect.

Growing up as a CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults) I learned at a young age the barriers and struggles underrepresented/ minority communities face when they don’t have the resources or support needed to truly succeed.

I was determined to change that narrative in my own way, and created a space for businesses to thrive with no barriers on social media.

I started my business dedicated to amplifying the voices and digital footprint of minority businesses through innovative social media strategies and creative content that truly captures the essence of a brand.
