Tracy and David will be back and forth to Syracuse over the next couple months to be with our Grandson who is in critical condition at Upstate Medical Center. With all this snow, we really need the public's help to clear out around the hydrants. If you are out shovelling, plowing or snowblowing take a few minutes to clear the snow from a hydrant near your home or business. The time you take now can mean the difference in saving your property or your life!

With the heavy snowfall it is crucial that snow is cleared away from fire hydrants so they are accessible to emergency services.

We are respectfully asking community members to help us help you by clearing snow and ice away from village hydrants.

Any volunteers who are able to assist are asked to respond to Potsdam Fire Department today at 1p.m. For further information or to ask questions, please contact Potsdam Fire Department at (315)265-3311.
