I had Tom with me this morning on Lake Fork, Texas. Tom fishes with me a lot and has Live Scope figured out almost as good as I do. We met for our breakfast and morning conversation and headed to our spot and it didn’t take long for him to put his limit in the boat. We fished timber in and along the creek channel in 48-54 fow with fish suspended 20-35’ down using 1/8oz black and chartreuse hair jigs. Give me a call and let’s go fishing. 903-474-5339

Yesterday I had Mark back with me out on Lake Fork. Lots of laughs when Mark comes down to fish. The morning started off a little ruff when my Garmin unit wouldn’t power on. Went through all the fuses, but come to find out it was a loose wire. Fixed the problem and it didn’t take Mark long to get his limit. We fished timber in 46-54 fow along the creek channel with fish suspended 20-36’ down using minnows and bone head purple shad jigs with a 1/8oz jig head. I had Tyrone and Randy from Louisiana with me on a chilly Lake Fork, Texas this morning. We got a late start, but it didn’t keep these 2 from putting some Lake Fork slabs in the live well. These 2 did a lot smack talking on who was going to catch big fish of the morning. Tyrone had big fish with a 2.40 #. Several big fish caught by both of these gentlemen. I had Larry and Twyla with me on Lake Fork. It was cold and windy on this day, but it didn’t stop this couple from putting some Lake Fork slabs in the live well. Several weeks behind due to the holidays. I had Lonnie from Tennessee back out with me on Lake Fork. Lonnie is no stranger to Live Scope and it didn’t take him long to put his limit in the live well. This morning I had Ty and Matthew with me on Lake Fork. These young fellas put the smack down on 50 slabs today. A lot of smack talking went on in the boat today which made the morning go by a lot faster. We fished minnows and jigs in 32-55 fow with fish suspended 20-35’ down. I have days available this month. Today I had Jesse, Cole, and Brett from OCN Outdoors with me on Lake Fork. The morning started off a bit slow, but we made a few adjustments and had a hell of a day. We saw a lot of fish early that wouldn’t bite. I decided to get us some minnows and move to a different area. We started to see a lot more fish. We stuck with jigs, but tipped with a minnow. It didn’t take these guys long to start filling up the live well. I had a great day with these guys and had lots of laughs. We ended the day with 63 slabs. We fished timber along the creek channel in 29-52 fow with fish suspended 20-36 ft down. Give me a call and let’s go fishing. 903-474-5339

The wife told me that she wanted fresh Crappie today for Supper. Just so happens I needed to do a little scouting for some upcoming trips and it worked out perfect and Lake Fork didn’t disappoint me. I rarely get to fish for myself and I took full advantage of it. I fished 3 spots this morning and all of them were holding fish. I fished timber in 39-58 fow with fish suspended 20-35’ down using a 1/4oz chartreuse head with a purple shad brush glider. Fish are chomping right now as they move to deeper water. Today I had Tom back with me on Lake Fork. We got a late start, but it didn’t stop him from putting some Lake Fork Slabs in the boat. Tom has been fishing with me about a year now and I consider him a great friend on mine. And like always after a trip we go to Marshalls in Emory to eat lunch. Monday I had a double trip on Lake Fork. I knew limits would not be reached, but both parties had a great time and caught some nice fish. Morning trip I had Gary and Judy from Louisiana. Gary kept me on my toes and laughing the entire morning. We fished timber in 27-30 fow using minnows.

Evening trip I had Randy and Mellisa with. This couple comes down to catfish with Mr. George Rule and had time to spare and wanted to get on some of these Lake Fork slabs and that’s what they did. We fished the same pattern as the morning trip. Give me a call and let’s go fishing. 903-474-5339
