Are you wondering about the differences between LLC, S-corp and C corporations? 🤔

Here’s a breakdown to help you better understand! ⬇️

LLC stands for Limited Liability Company and offers the best of both worlds between incorporation and a sole proprietorship. It shields the owner’s personal assets from creditors and other liabilities, while still allowing “pass through” taxation of profits.

C-Corp is a separate legal and tax entity from its shareholders. It offers enhanced credibility and more complex organization structures but must pay corporate taxes on its profits.

S- Corps pays taxes similar to LLCs and passes income, losses, deductions and credits through to the shareholders. It is also viewed as a separate entity, as LLCs are. It is also required to adhere to certain corporate formalities.

Choosing which one is best for you depends on a variety of factors, so be sure to do your research and check with an accountant about which one lines up the most with your unique business needs.
