CANYON, Texas — For a second consecutive year, the West Texas A&M University Print Shop won major recognition for its work, scoring four awards from an internationally recognized program.

Each year, WT’s Transfer Ambassadors host Festival of Trees, where departments and student organizations come together to decorate dozens of Christmas trees. It’s a joyful way to kick off the season, and it transforms our hallway into a festive display of creative themes and colors.
The best part? At the end of the event, these beautifully decorated trees are donated to families in need, allowing more homes to be filled with Christmas cheer.

Special shout-out and thanks to the Anderson family for decorating the WT Alumni Association tree!

So thankful for the student workers who keep the Print Shop running. Last week we had the opportunity to recognize Jerry Jakpa for his excellence in teamwork at the Student Employee of the Year reception.

Jerry is a senior finance major from Nigeria 🇳🇬. A track star 🏃🏿 and a soccer fan ⚽️.

Jerry handles billing and helps with accounts payable at the Print Shop.
