Yesterday was a special one.
I had the honor of interviewing Al Kinkle acommunity leader, father, advocate, and founder of Kimmie's Recovery Zone as part of Carolina's Compassionate Counseling's Men's Mental Health Awareness series.
What made this conversation even more meaningful is that our paths go back years. I had the privilege of working with Kimmie's Recovery Zone during its early years and witnessed firsthand Al's heart for serving others and creating a safe space for recovery, healing, and hope.
To now sit across from him and help share his story was a full-circle moment.
Men's mental health matters. And when leaders are willing to share their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned, it creates space for others to know they are not alone.
Thank you, Al, for your leadership, vulnerability, and continued impact on our community.
Be sure to follow Kimmie's Recovery Zone and Carolina's Compassionate Counseling as we continue this Men's Mental Health Awareness series, highlighting local fathers, leaders, and community changemakers who are helping break the stigma and encourage healing.
Stay tuned for this powerful conversation.
