Intergraphic is changing – slightly. Over the years, Intergraphic has changed from a sign and design company into a full service graphic design and marketing company. While the design and sales of signage will remain part of our business, we will no longer produce any signs in house. For the last few years we have been outsourcing some of our signs from a variety of suppliers, both local and natio
nally. This offered us the opportunity to expand what we offered while keeping our overhead down. Well, really not much. You can continue to call us for your sign needs-we have partnered with Artistix Signs at 716 SE 47th Terrace for those items that we had been producing in-house. We have been friends and traded work back and forth for years. Artistix will produce many of the signs that we design for our clients. We will continue to give you the maximum quality at the fairest price and fast delivery. Signs are an art form. They have to be:
1.Attention getting – a sign has to compete for visual awareness amidst the background of buildings, trees, traffic and other signs night and day. They must be designed with the location in mind first and foremost.
2.Speak your message – a sign that attracts your eye then has to tell your story within seconds. The design has to be concise, readable and memorable. Today vehicle wraps and electronic signs are all the rage. Pay attention to how poorly many of them perform. Take a lesson from the big corporations. Your business name is usually the most important element and your business proposition the important second.
3.Professional – your signs should be well designed and well produced. We believe that by partnering with Artistix we will continue to assure that your signs provide these elements and that we can continue to assure your branding is consistent throughout your signs, your website and anything else that presents your company name. Our focus will remain the design and marketing side-web sites, brochures, pre-press and sourcing for printing, logos, graphic design and specialty products (things like pens with your name on them) without any change. These are the elements that have always been central to what we do, and we are looking forward to continuing this work with you and our future clients. So, what’s changing? Really nothing except the delivery system. Signs produced locally will be built, installed and sold to you by Artistix Signs. We will be happy to consult with you and design your signage as we always have. Please feel free to call Kris or John if you have any questions.
