Big news if you manage a government website or work with local municipalities.
The U.S. Department of Justice just granted a one-year extension on ADA web accessibility compliance deadlines. That means more time to get it right, but the requirements haven't changed at all.
New deadlines:
📅 Counties 50,000+ population: April 24, 2027
📅 Counties under 50,000: April 26, 2028
Here's the part that surprises most people: nearly 95% of websites currently have detectable accessibility failures, so you're not alone in this.
At B&B Media, LLC, we help local governments and small businesses across Southeast Missouri understand where they stand and build a realistic path to compliance. No jargon, no scare tactics, just straightforward help from a team that does this every day.
If you're not sure where your site stands, now is the time to find out.
