💜 Eight years ago, I had no idea where this would lead.
I was spending my free time helping friends, family, and—seriously—random strangers plan Disney vacations because friends kept giving out my number. 😂
People told me for years, “You should be a travel agent.” I resisted. I didn't know enough about the industry, and honestly, the responsibility scared me. I want every vacation to feel perfect.
In December 2018, I finally took the leap. There have been incredible highs and some painful lows along the way. But this eventually led to something so much better. My friend Sue and I decided to create Wanderly Adventures®. We weren't trying to build a big agency. We were building the agency we wanted to be part of—one grounded in honesty, trust, and knowledge, where doing what's right for the client always matters.
And then something happened we never really expected. Other advisors wanted to be part of it, too. Today, Wanderly Adventures has 16 advisors in 9 states. Our name is officially a registered trademark. And yesterday, our very first billboard went up. 💜 Seeing our name up there made my heart take a little leap.
Because I know what came before that billboard—the late nights, early mornings, training, travel, phone calls, problems solved, and thousands of little details handled along the way. But most importantly, I know who made it possible - YOU!
Every vacation you've trusted me to plan. Every referral. Every shared post. Every message that starts with, “Someone told me I should call you...” Eight years ago, I was the person friends sent their Disney questions to. Today, I'm the co-owner of a travel agency with amazing advisors across the country, and a BILLBOARD. 😂💜
Thank you for trusting me with your honeymoons, anniversaries, first Disney trips, cruises, family vacations, and bucket-list adventures. You are the very best part of what we do. And I can't wait to see where we go from here. 💜
